Trade in the DJ or Band Expense: iPod Your Wedding

Times are tough, and if you need to cut back on your wedding expenses, one of the areas you can make a cut in is your entertainment. Not only does using your iPod save you money, but it also ensures you hear all of your favorite songs. You can even play them in the order you want.

Using your iPod for your wedding music is perfect for small intimate weddings. You can buy a small sound system to hook your iPod to in order to project the music. Or check with your venue to see what options they have available.

If you are planning a small 30 guest wedding with no formalities this may apply but please beware - this will not work for an large or formal reception! Google Ipod horror stories from Brides! Here is an informative link that will explain if your going to use an ipod how to do it : http://www.perfectweddings.us/2009/04/the-ipod-wedding-diy-dj.html

I agree to a point. It also works for the very un-traditional wedding ceremonies and receptions that thousands of brides are turning to.

I happen to have a love for bands and DJs. As a former certified event planner, I have a warm place in my heart for them and what they can bring to an event of any kind.

iPodding your wedding is an option--and a viable one for many wedding couples.
